Processes we would like to explore

FLOCKING
Flocking is the process of depositing flock, which is small fiber particles, onto a surface. It can also refer to the texture produced by the process. Flocking of an article can be performed for the purpose of increasing its value in terms of the tactile sensation, aesthetics, color and appearance. It can also be performed for functional reasons including slip-or-grip friction, and low reflectivity.
Flocking is defined as the application of fine particles to adhesive coated surfaces. In a heat press of 180degrees for 30 seconds the flock material attaches to the substrate previously applied with plexi-glue. A flocked finish imparts a decorative and/or functional characteristic to the surface.

FOILING
Foiling is a special kind of printing procedure where heat, pressure, and a metallic foil are used to create different shiny designs and graphics on various materials. Foiling gives a shiny and incredible look and is increasingly becoming the preferred method of printing in many an industry.
Today, foiling has found many applications and is increasing in popularity as a method of printing.
It is applied in a similar way to flocking. In a heat press of 180degrees for 10seconds the foil attaches to the substrate, which was previously applied with plexi-glue in the desired pattern.

LASER ENGRAVING
Laser engraving, is the practice of using lasers to engrave an object. Different patterns can be engraved by programming the laser through illustrator designs. The trace of the laser beam is carefully regulated to achieve a consistent removal depth of material. The speed at which the beam moves across the material is also considered in creating engraving patterns. Changing the intensity and spread of the beam allows more flexibility in the design.

LASER CUTTING
Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut materials, Laser cutting works by directing the output of a high-power laser most commonly through optics.

EMBOSSING
Embossing refers to the creation of an impression of some kind of design, decoration, lettering or pattern on another surface like paper, cloth, metal and even leather, to make a relief. In embossing, the pressing raises the surfaces adding a new dimension to the object.

Embossing is an elegant process that changes the nature of the material that has been embossed. More often than not it elevates the standard and quality of the product. Embossing makes things more beautiful than they originally are. The simplest of object can become pieces of art worthy of the highest praise by using a technique as easy as embossing. Of course, how good an embossed object looks depends entirely on the quality of embossing. Embossing is a technique that adds elegance and sensuality to selected surfaces.
