Our Contribution to Another LASRA Group
As a collaboration with other groups we have made designs to go into the LASRA pouch, showcasing potential in the lambskin
Foiled business card to tie in with the whole brand
Our designs have also been displayed on the webpage for the wallets as a design selection
Contructing Our Final Book
Cutting out card for each part of the book and cutting out the corresponding fabric was a major challenge for making our book. It proved very mathematical to make sure that it closed flat and clean.
This was a very complex part of the book. The header that is bolted over the samples.
Cutting out the fabric in the appropriate shape so to fit around the card perfectly was extremely difficult.
sticking the fabric on carefully bit by bit after being sprayed with adhesive

Info for Inside of Book
This is the layout for the inside of our book. We're getting it printed because it needs to be on A1 so that we can cut out this strip to go across the whole book without any seams. It features a circle image of a sample with a certain technique and the corresponding info next to it.

Final week Speakers: Graduates panel @ The Pit
Notes from the graduates
* Keep moving. Experience and do things. Don't be idle.
* Keep a routine and get out of your confined space. Make it something you'll wait for. A break from work. Getting coffee and sitting in the park maybe.
* NETWORKING is IMPORTANT! Make connections while you're still a student. Ask for help. Most people want you to succeed.
* Work more than you think you should. Don't just stop when you think you're done for the day. Keep going.
* When deciding on the price of your design work, think of a number. Double it. Then put some more on it. The less you think of your design work, the more you undermine the work of other designers too.
